Inspired by the great work of an acquaintance of mine I started to try out photo restoration and colorisation by myself recently. Though admittedly, this was a simple case (most part of the picture is his fur coat), I am quite proud of my first try.
I think this photo must have been taken around 1916 on the Crimea peninsula. The shown person is my great grandfather who was of German descent.
