The song Headfirst for Halos is by My Chemical Romance, and I think it's fantastic, because it's a happy upbeat (uh...well, at least for MCR it is) song but the lyrics are really just...not. I love it. I had wanted to make this picture for a while but..er..didn't? Anyway. Here it is. I sort of think it lacks something But I still like it. Probably because I managed to draw a head looking up without it looking completely pathetic. I also suck at drawing guns, and you can't even really see it here but um...whee! You have, in a single picture, captured their song so well.
It's one of my favorite songs.
The angle of the picture, the expression you gave Gerard, and the position of the gun, pointing toward the lyrics fit nicely. It gives a good flow line for one's eyes.
I especially like the use of a muted color pallet in contrast with the bloody words. The picture has an over emotional/grunge look, but is still clean.
