Original Description
One for the horse lovers.
A new born filly gets up some serious speed through some ferns at dusk in The New Forest.
Very low light forced me to use abnormally high ISO, (at least for abnormal for me), to get enough shutter speed to freeze in mid motion. The thought never crossed my mind to use a slow speed and try to convey a sense of velocity as the filly was running around in circles and it wouldn't of worked too well.

Is that a suggestion? I was considering cropping the tree to the right but it made the foal too central in the image for my liking.

Ah wasn't sure if it was a suggestion to crop or i'd said somthing about cropping in the image description or somthing lol.
Peronsally I don't find the tree that distracting, altough normally its somthing I would crop and probably will at some point.
As for the foreground I fail to see how it 'ruins' the shot. Its inclusive of some environment rather than a frame filling pony shot which is what I was trying to avoid, and as this was a motion shot its unavoidable that its blurred. Panning Camera + waving grass

Just meant the bit of focus blur on the rhs of the frame not the foreground motion blur.

Adorable shot. The noise doesnt look so bad it almost looks like a texture.
