As most of your work has shown, this is a simple environment and character that breathes a lot of detail. I gave full marks for vision and technique because you imagine a scene and bring it to life and you clearly are mastering your manipulation ability. The only reason i didn't give full marks for the originality and impact is because i have seen similar ideas in different mediums. I do think the overall effect is lovely, it's lighting and seamless blending of the different images is something you have great mastery over. I prod you to really push the envelope on your next project, i look forward to it.

Thanks a lot for the critique Johnny. I know it's not very original, but I never did anything like it so..

I really like the idea of this and the colors and lighting are fantastic and everything really flows and blends together really well. It all fits together and the point of light from the lantern really draws all of the darkness together. I can't tell if it's a man or a woman, but I believe it's a woman. I like how I can't tell if she's lost, or if she's searching for something, or if she's just taking a walk. And then there's the sky, which is either really cloudy or it has a large moon. Everything is very well done, and brought together, just stunning. The colors, the idea, the manipulating, the woman/man, the hedges(???), the sky, it's just absolute.

Well, my first thought was IT'S A WOMAN but then I read your critique and I was like, wait, what if it's not a woman?! So I looked closer and I was like, It could be either! To hell with it!

This one really caught my eye, the lighting/shadowing, the overall mood, the posture, it speaks volumes.
Could easily be a wizened old man on a journey, searching for something, or a lost traveler. Either way the feeling I get is that of someone searching for something or somewhere, perhaps a bet weary from traveling, but isn't quite ready to settle down for the night.
The endless rows of trees suggest the man has come a long way, but has perhaps a long long way to go.
My only nitpick on this one would have been to off-center it a bit, perhaps at a slight angle, but otherwise, it's a very well done image.

The blending and manipulation on this one is one of my favorites. Idea is simple but very well executed.

You are a great artist and we can feel it easily with this picture. The light of this picture creates a strange ambiance with a dark side but also like the character tries to find a way to restore ther reality. It's like she is attracted by this universe but in the same time don't find her way to return in the real world. Maybe a labyrinth without exit where she will walk for many hours or worst, for the eternity.
