If you stand with your eyes closed for a while on a summer noon, exposing your face to the Sun, you will notice how the flames behind your closed eyelids change - from an orange net of fire, like a moving large-scale map of the Universe, through a diffuse golden glow, as if you were hovering in a depth of amber honey, to a space-filling glow that is almost white - or rather, colourless or inclusive of all colours.
If you then open your eyes, you can catch a state where the world is made entirely of Light. Light is here the matter from which everything is constructed. And the "real", opaque matter has become ghostly - elusive shadows on the edge of perception. And there is never anyone here and it is always very quiet.
