Description
Getting back into the game with a brand new Ghost Rider piece, and the best I've done in a while. This was hand colored in ink twice. First with Sharpies, but I thought it wasn;t looking dark enough, so I went over the whole piece with probably half a dozen Papermate Flair markers. Then a little contrast tweaking done digitally to make the inks pop better.Sharpie & Papermate Flair markers ink over 6H pencil on cardstock.

Yes, you can, but when you upload it, credit me for inks and send me a note when complete.

I can see from the submission date that this is one of your older pieces, but it's still amazing. The dramatic comic stylization is astounding. This isn't a finicky style involving a ton of little pen details, but rather, a bold one using large areas of either black or white. I love how much depth, distinction, and detail this has despite the style- Quite skillful on your part! The texture of the ground where the fingers are digging in and the clothing folds are two of my favorite parts.
Undeniably, the entire thing oozes awesomeness. Fabulous work.

I don't often use such large amounts of positive and negative space, so this was a test for myself as well. There are some aspects I am unhappy with, but in the end I can overlook them in this image. I just need to keep them in mind to make sure I remedy them in future images.
And a year is not that old, I feel, when compared to works when I first started taking art seriously.

Your drawing is not bad, cool angles.. nice attitude, you have to be quite braindead to not notice how pissed off that guy is, seriously .
You ask how you could improve on similar pieces?.. Well seriously, from my own opinion: Ditch the lineart, start shading. It takes longer but if you invest more time in your work it will look much better. Since you've already got the skills for shapes and poses move on and practise on how to draw your characters in a more realistic way. Thats my opinion
