Description
Deep Woods Sample Map © Christina Roberts (Neyjour) 2013Made entirely with my own photographs.
All objects/elements/textures were photographed on our property, with the exception of the mold, which was cultivated in the house on used coffee grounds.
I don't have the time (or the energy) to release these objects/elements/textures as a commercial product. It grew way too large, and just thinking
about all the work involved in getting it ready to sell gives me a headache. So instead, I'll be offering these (as time allows) as small freebie sets.

Is one available without the grid? I like this map a lot, but I use roll20 and it has its own grid.

This is very beautiful Neyjour, I especially love the tree trunks and roots. What a lovely garden you must have!

Thanks so much Jack!
We have 32 acres of woods, and I've made several hours-long treks through it in the past couple weeks for this pack. It's tons of fun looking for all the different things to photo (especially the fungi) but by the time I make my way back to the house, I feel like an old crippled woman. Too much bending over to take close-up/macro shots. LOL!!

Nice. I like the idea with the canopy shadows. Looking forward to the resource pack.

I want to be Neyjour when I grow up
Have you decided on a price for this resource pack yet?

Hehe. Thanks! Glad you like it!
I haven't decided on a price yet. I've been trying to find similar products, to get an idea of pricing, but haven't had any luck at all. The only products I've been able to find with similar amounts of objects (in the hundreds) are art packs, and even those seem to vary quite a bit; some are just a few dollars, and others are as high as 20 dollars or more.
With art packs, everything is ready to use. Just add your objects, position them where you want, and you're pretty much good to go. So you can get good looking results fairly quickly and easily. However, you're restricted to a certain scale. With a resource pack like mine, there's more work involved (resizing and editing/tweaking each object to get cohesive, good looking results), but there's also much more flexibility with scale. If you want a massive tree trunk as the focal point of your map, a forest of huge tree-sized mushrooms, or a jungle path with huge overgrown vegetation, you can do that.
So...what to do? I've kind of put pricing on the back burner for the time being, until I've finished the pack and know exactly how many objects there's going to be. But I do know that I want to make it affordable for everyone...not something that the average person will look at and think: "I'd really like to have that, but I just can't afford it right now". So, comparing it to the art packs I've seen, I'm leaning towards the middle-low range with pricing. Maybe 6-8 dollars, depending on how large the pack is when I'm completely finished.

I would pay eight dollars in an instant and I'm broke .

Cool, thanks for letting me know! I hope others will feel the same, that that price range is affordable even if they don't have extra money to burn.
