I really like the horn shapes on her head and the overall design is very nice too. The colors work well together here. Yet... I feel that it needs just a bit more detail with the plant life. Perhaps some highlights and shading? The stalks/trunks seem a little undeveloped compared with the rest of the piece too.
Just my opinion though. I do think you've got a great idea going with this experiment. You are very talented.

I was going more along the lines of having everything flat in the picture except for the face, but your comment's actually very interesting. When I get home, I'm going to look at the painting again-- I really don't think it could HURT to add some shading at all, and it might improve it, in all honesty.
