**If you FAVE, please COMMENT**Of all the art I've done recently that I've scanned in the past few days, this one is my favorite so far.
This is Sequana, tutelary goddess of the River Seine. She normally stands on a boat shaped like a duck, but since the icon was so small, I chose to put a real duck in here with her. This is the closest I have gotten to portraying her as I "see" her... Still not perfect, but I think it's as close as it'll get for me.

There's a bit on our right, her lower jaw-- the line breaks where in the real painting it doesn't, and that bothers me.

I -really- need to rescan this one. The scanner 'broke' her cheek. Grrr.

I only photograph mine, any digital camera will do. My stuff has too much texture to be scanned!

It scanned badly! Her cheek got distorted.

I love the depth in her face, especially how her cheeks seem to glow!

I think I need to rescan this... her cheek looks like it's bubbling over there on the right (our right)... and it's smooth IRL. Weird, and annoying.
