I found a wooden Folk Art Shotgun somebody made. I decided that I would try to alter it into a B.A.R. The upper left photo is how it looked when I got it. The other two photos show how it is now after my hard work. I found a WW2 era strap, a Boyt 1943 dated leather B.A.R. cleaning kit pouch, a faded to white 1918 dated B.A.R. belt half that was altered into a bandoleer in 1942. I have heard that soldiers in the Second World War didn't like how much the WW1 era equipment would fade in the sunlight. The non faded belt half is a WW2 era B.A.R. bandoleer. I put the two bandoleers onto a pistol belt to have a B.A.R. belt. I remember talking to a WW2 Vet that was in one of my college art classes. He told me that his belt during the Second World War was the same way, two bandoleers on a pistol belt. I think I did a good job, to me it looks like a B.A.R. I'm going to use it in my Nazi Zombie film.
