The background is loosely based off of the area around Astoria, Oregon area, where the Columbia River flows into the pacific ocean. I drew in the long bridge connecting Oregon and Washington way back, and if you look between Fred's head and right wing, you can see a little harbor city, which is - you guessed it - inspired by the Astoria area.
This background took me TWO DAYS to make. TWO FUCKING DAYS. I hope the effort was worth it to making you like this!
