Description
'Cleanliness isn't always that close to Godliness'. The seldom seen pipe cleaner, inhabits the sewers of more temperate countries and is driven by an urge to keep clean despite its chosen habitat.A small and hopefully whimsical image created in ArtRage to support an editorial piece in a magazine.

Haha, I love this!
Freaky sewer monsters need to do laundry too! I think I own a pair of shorts like those.

Thank you LadyAsenath - and yes those are boxers - well they are supposed to be more comfortable than y-fronts. Would you deny this creature comfort? And perhaps impose a reduced probability of reproduction, if certain medical research is to be believed?

Well I suppose it is also esier to clean stuff with them because there's more fabric . Awesome work, looking at this again makes me strangely happy!

thanks a lot for the reply, as i know you are a busy soul. Fleeting glimpses that flashes through when you are on the side seat of a locomotive is always soothing and colorful, thus the name..again i got to say those works of yours...they were a real treat for the eye and soul...more wonderful than the above mentioned fleeting glimpses.

Great lighting and execution.
Best things here: I love the shadow/light effect in the brick wall and the overall lighting in the scene, it gives a really nice sense of mistery. The color and rendering are amazing, and the details are awesome, like the reflections, bubbles in the water and th rubbish in the sewer.
little crits if you allow me : The head/shoulder zone looks a bit confusing, it took me some moments to realize what parts are what (must be me). The pipe cleaning action seems to be more inclined to "robe wash" action hehe
Amazing work Nickilius!

Thanks Rukkits. Much appreciated
You never need worry about pointing at things you think don't work well in my stuff either. I appreciate that too - all helps me in the quest to improve. Yes, that shoulder area is troublesome - mainly because I couldn't work out an elegant solution to having two sets of deltoid (shoulder) muscles on each side to support the four arms. I tied a split headed clavicle (collar bone) and it kind of worked (ignoring the fact that it just won't really work with the conventional back musculature anyway - cough), but somehow that got a bit lost in the process of sorting out the lighting scheme, which was the overriding focus on this. Deadlines are such a double edged sword. Yes they make me finish stuff, but with my slow pace it makes me rush and end up with unsatisfactory finishes sometimes. Excusitis huh! Never mind - Must do better - must do better . . . .

Haha, this is exactly the sort of image I love the most! Strange and a little gross, but whimsical and cute at the same time. I particularly love the contrast of the perfect pink bubbles with the green sludge.
