This is my own version of the mad hatters hat. Its a good fit but I plan on keeping it as decoration rather than wearing it anywhere. Might loan it to friends if they need it though.

I would like to find some sort of thin lace curtain or something to go over the burgundy part to help hide the imperfections and add some extra detail. Just gotta find a good swirly one and spray paint it black maybe even add a hint of gold. I kinda of want to add a clock in the front. Maybe even some gears to make it a little more steampunk. Also I'm not sure of this yet but I might decide to burn the cards a little...

Anyway, I found a tutorial last week while looking for a trailer on the new Alice in Wonderland movie coming out soon. After watching the tutorial I decided I would try out making the hat just because. For anyone who would like to see the tutorial and perhaps make your own hat as well, here ya go!
