Mt. Fuji, 12:38 p.m. The Black Knights and Tokyo Mavericks took out a large fraction of the Confederate Enclave’s forces, and launched an attack on the Damocles. As the smoke cleared, there were holes in the fortress, openings for the Knightmares to enter into. Not only that, but the attacks also sealed up the areas where the F.L.E.I.J.A.s were supposed to be fired from, preventing any more of the WMDs to be sent out.

Alistair: We’ve got an opening, ladies and gentlemen!
Lelouch: Those of you who want to keep fighting out here, do so! As for the rest…everybody in!

The Shinkiro went with the Lancelot, Guren and Masakado into the Damocles, as did a large contingent of Tokyo Mavericks and Black Knights forces. However, Tohdoh was stopped from entering, by a Lancelot Conquista copy, with Enclave colors. Deep down, Tohdoh knew exactly who was in the pilot seat.

Tohdoh: Hello, Zanzibar.
Zanzibar: Tohdoh. Today, you meet your end.
Tohdoh: I have my doubts.
Zanzibar: For the glory of the Confederate Enclave!

The Lancelot Enclave and Zangetsu clashed outside the Damocles, as other Knightmares either entered the fortress or fought outside it, as well. Meanwhile, aboard the Ikaruga, C.C. was looking at the newly upgraded Lancelot Conquista, which now had the same pink color scheme as her old Akatsuki.

C.C.: So...this is the Lancelot Frontier, now?
Rakshata: That’s right. Had to remove the Hadron Blaster, and still give you two MVSs.
C.C.: That’s good. I like that. And, the Percival’s shield?
Rakshata: Reloadable missiles.
C.C.: Now, we’re cooking with Sakuradite. I’m in.

C.C. happily entered the Lancelot Frontier, activating the Knightmare.

Rakshata: By the way, Tohdoh seems to be in a pickle against Roddy. Could you give him a hand, before you bust in?
C.C.: Gladly.

C.C. grinned with determination, launching out of the hangar in her new Knightmare. As she sped through the battlefield in the sky, she saw the Zangetsu indeed having trouble against the Lancelot Enclave.

C.C.: Need me to even the odds, a little?
Tohdoh: Please!
C.C.: Can do.

The Lancelot Frontier flew towards the battle, and landed a downward spinning heel kick onto the Lancelot Enclave, causing quite a bit of damage and giving the Zangetsu some breathing room.

Tohdoh: I’m not equipped to fight him, right now, I’ll be right back!

The Zangetsu sped off back to the Ikaruga, and the Lancelot Frontier set its sights on the Lancelot Enclave, its Slash Harkens prepared for melee combat, rather than being launched. Upon the Lancelot Enclave’s recovery, the Frontier got in front of it and struck it with wide slashes from its wrist-mounted Harkens, causing even more damage.

Zanzibar: Damn immortal! Stay out of our way!
C.C.: Why don’t you make me, Roddy?
Zanzibar: It’s Colonel Zanzibar, you forever teenage whelp!

The Lancelot Enclave swung its MVSs at the Frontier, only to be countered with more Harken slashes. Meanwhile, the Zangetsu was being loaded up with firearms to combat Zanzibar.

Tohdoh: If this doesn’t kill him, send the other loadout to my location inside the Damocles.
Black Knight Engineer: Yes, sir!
Chiba: (walks up to Tohdoh) You’re going back out there?
Tohdoh: I have to, Chiba. You know that.
Chiba: I know, but… I have to tell you something!
Tohdoh: Alright… What is it?
Chiba: I’m in love with you!

Tohdoh was shocked by the sudden confession.

Tohdoh: O-Oh…! Has...that been what you wanted to tell me, last month?
Chiba: (blushes and nods)
Tohdoh: ...Huh. (pauses) Wanna team up with me, and kick that discriminator’s ass?
Chiba: Yes, sir!

Chiba, Urabe and Asahina got into their Akatsukis, joined by Kanda’s Omoikane, and were sent out along with the Zangetsu. Upon arrival to the battlefield, the group saw the Lancelot Frontier pounding the Lancelot Enclave with rapid punches enhanced by the Slash Harkens, then finished with a dropping heel kick and an attack from all four of its Slash Harkens, causing plenty of damage.

Zanzibar: Damn, damn, damn!
Tohdoh: Alright, I’ve got backup! Get in there, C.C.!
C.C.: Enjoy the fight, Colonel.

The Frontier flew off, leaving the Lancelot Enclave to face off against Tohdoh and the Four Holy Swords. Zanzibar noticed he was outnumbered.

Zanzibar: You wouldn’t dare…

The five Knightmares opened fire on the Lancelot Enclave, with their heavy assault rifles. Meanwhile, the Knightmares inside the Damocles were putting up a decent fight against the Tokyo Mavericks and Black Knights, perhaps because there was more cover inside the fortress.

Lelouch: Damn…! We may have gotten in, but now we need to figure out how to get to Hawking!
Alistair: We need to get to the top! That castle-looking structure on top was where I first entered Fort Helios! Hawking has to be at the top!
Suzaku: Right…! By the way, I think I’ve noticed several of the enemies having Sigma’s color scheme.
Alistair: Copies of him that must’ve been recently made. We can expect the real deal guarding Hawking’s door.
Lelouch: Let’s move out!
