Description Anatomy study of the muscles on the torso, I've also added some figure torso drawings here and a table showing what the muscles are named. You can see the muscles from the front ( anterior view), back( posterior view) and from the side ( lateral view). I've also drawn a part of the biceps and the triceps muscles and they do not belong in the torso but I thought it would help to see how the other torso muscles are connected to them.Β

Great studies! What anatomy books have you had a chance to study from? I'm currently perusing Paul Richer's Artistic Anatomy which is incredibly detailed.

Thank you! I would love to check out Paul Richer's Artistic Anatomy since I love a good and well written detailed anatomy book. I used Valerie L Winslow's Human Anatomy to learn a bit more about the human body and the movement of the muscles and bones and how they change the overall look of the body in different poses. It is a fantastic book to start learning and improve your knowledge
