So I realized I've never drawn a proper picture of Climber before. Excuse me while I atone for this. (First time drawing Clarice too. Her pose took forever gaaah.)
Also today marks my second anniversary of discovering Unknown-person 's work (which led to me discovering octs in general, which led to discovering an amazing community of people that I never knew existed) so this is a little tribute.
Err....was there an ocean around the amusement park? There was an ocean, right? Riiiight? Ohgod it's been so long OTL
Also I kinda BS'd on the background/perspective I HOPE NOBODY MINDS /sob

I know, but I want to be more like these other artists, including you. You have an original style, and you can also consistently draw stuff, and... I dunno, I just don't like the way my stuff looks. I just really admire the cartoony style. Plus lots of people generally overuse the 'anime-esque' style... .w.

Hey, my style is rooted heavily in anime too. To me, the difference between "anime-esque" and "cartoony" is that anime or anime-like styles keep basic anatomy/proportions while stylizing only certain parts, while most cartoons (like say, spongebob) just blow everything out of proportion with heavy stylization. While yes, it is very original, to me that feels like cheating, haha...
