Cosmier Request by NightReaper01 is actually a really cool little traditional art piece.
First off, lets list the things that I love about the photo. First, I love wolves, their my favorite animal. Second of all, I love the colors red and black, and last I love traditional art.
Now for some critiquing.
I think that most people viewing this, would say that it is horrible, and that it isn't a very good hand drawing at all.
I am going to disagree.
I think that it is actually a pretty well done art piece. I myself am not that good at drawing animals, so this gets 3 stars in vision from me for that and for giving this wolf some wings. I think its really original, because I myself don't see too many wolves with wings uploaded.
As for technique, I believe that the artist did a good job with color choice, staying in the lines, and for adding some actual hair to the wolf that extended off of the body itself. This adds to make it look more realistic, however, I believe that the artist should work more on their shading techniques. I think that they need to practice some more on just shading, this way the entire wolf isn't just one shade or one shade off.
I really like how they did the blood as well.
Overall, I think the artist did a good job at drawing this, but they need to work on shading. If they can work on this, they could probably get this to look a lot more realistic. Now for me, I never use color in my traditional pieces, I prefer just shading/gray tones. So I would suggest that the artists practices with their gray tones first, and then practice using color the same way if they still choose to stick with using color in their drawings. Yeah, I've been struggling very much with shading, and I've never really known exactly how to work on it. However, your critique provided me some insight on how to. So I must thank you so very much for that!

Your very very welcome! Take a look at some of my traditional pieces in my gallery if you can. (A lot are on mature content, so you may not be able to see the really crazily shaded ones). But maybe a few will show and you can see how I do it, and maybe it will give you some ideas.
