Hello! I'm opening up a few commission slots, animation only this time.

Animation Prices:
Payment via Paypal invoices only. I'll take payment after the rough sketch is approved. Buyer will receive the finished MP4 video file or gif. though email.
Right now, animated icons, loops, half-body and full-body shots are open. I’m also trying out rough animation, though I don't have a finished example yet. It'll basically look like my sketches but animated:
Rough close-up shot:

+$10 per second for color
+$30 for a simple background
Rough full-body Shot:
$60 USD per second
+20 per second for color
+$60 for a simple background

I'm broke asf rn, but for future references (bascially a quote) how much would an AMV be with multiple characters? (1:30 minutes roughly) I expect it to be about 2-5k ? Maybe?

I was thinking a flight animation similar to a walk or trot cycle!
A 'simple' flat-colored loop with a single character.
For mood/expression I figured it would be happy, enjoying a nice flight.
How long I'm not sure, as long as it need's to be??

They are a wyvern so the wings attach to the shoulders and they only have 2 'legs'.
Their wings can be used for sharp turns and low-speed flight. Mostly used to get from tree to tree. They have high maneuverability along with rapid wing beats.
Similar to a bat but a bit slower wing beats due to size.
I figure this will be a pretty complex animation which is why I wanted to get a quote so I can save up ^-^

A flight cycle is about 1 second long, so the base price for it would be $50 USD. The stripes and the gradients on the character would be considered complex, but still doable, though I may need to simplify the stripes a bit. :0
So base of $50 + $30 for the complex design would be $80 USD c:

I am seriously considering putting in a request for a bit of a basic walk cycle but I'd like to know if you would have a grievance with animating stripes as I know they can be pretty frustrating.
This would be the character:
And would something like a walk cycle come out to around 120 usd? I'm not familiar with translating frames into seconds so I would like to know a ballpark number before specifics if you wouldn't mind, thanks!

It depends on the character's pace, but I normally animate walk cycles around 1.5 to 2 seconds (I glad you asked because I'm looking back at the price list and realizing I wrote 3 seconds for walk cycles for some reason...I should probably fix that lol). His stripes are defiantly doable but would be considered complex. So a walk cycle of this character would be $95, or $120 for a slower paced walk. c:

Are animated headshot icons $50 per second or $50 altogether? Just making sure I understood correctly! The character would be toyhou.se/3777820.falcon so he's pretty simple!

Icon prices aren't based on seconds, it's just a flat price of $50 (due to DA's icon size limit, I can't really do anything longer than a couple seconds unless there is some still frames). I normally only add on extra fees for complex designs or extras like effect animation.
The character you linked is simple, so unless you wanted something extra animated with it, it would be just $50. c:

O h gosh the temptation is real.. Have discord nitro so an animated icon would be quite nice to try for given my boy wouldn't be to complex.
Good thing there's time as I'll have to look more into this more after work, don't wanna be late.
