Description
These are two current work in progress ponies. I'd rather have them here than in scraps because the one on the right is pretty much as finished as she'll get until I finally get myself some hair for her.

(note: the pony on the left had the flash used and the pony on the right didn't because with flash on or off one of them wouldn't show up)

So... these are both customs I was working on a little while ago. I think the one on the right first. I think I got her in a batch and didn't need her, so I decided to customize her. I tried really hard to pry that get out of her side, but it wouldn't come out, so I just settled for incorporating the gem into the design. Unfortunatly the acrylic I used was non-water based, so I couldn't make any mistakes, because if I did I couldn't get it off. (that was VERY annoying) Anyway, yup she has black veiny things coming out of her gem(originally I was aiming for black branch-like things, but they turned into veins), I think the black and pink actually go together quite well. Her eyes are blue and a blueish silver with white stars in them. No idea what to call her... Pink-Star-Vein pony...

On the left is a pony that I started a little after the first, I had the idea for the designs, but didn't really know what base colour to make her. I mashed a lot of colours together, thinking I could make her the colour of darkish bloody flesh or somethng (o.O don't ask where that idea came from...) She turned out her current colour, which is alright. Yes, her name is Bleeding Heart, this is quite a dark pony : P She has weird silvery things coming up her legs, cause I didn't know what to do, I just wanted something on her legs, on the end of them ate little broken hearts, while her main symbol is of course a bleeding heart. Her eyes are mostly closed, with the actual eye being silvery blue to indicate tears, and indeed there are tears. I think I like her eyes the most. She also has a rose in her mouth, because it just fits in there so perfectly and stays without glue or anything. She is unfinished, as you can see but the non-display side foot, I stopped about halfway and let all my paint colours dry up, it'll be tough to mix them all up again.
