Hunting Dogs! Ive always been so fascinated by these canines of africa. So streamlined and beautifully patterned, and like a fingerprint or tigers stripes, no pattern is the same.
One of many finished in hopes of selling at the annual festival that's held here once a year.
This original is for sale! Note me if interested (Only serious inquiries, please)

Very good. I like how the adult is in almost a protective stance by the pup, and the pup is more... shall I say distracted? ADHD wild dog. Lol
The pup's sitting position is perfect, and even though it is a little more realistic than the adult dog, the dog is still a great piece by itself. The pup just improves it! I know what you mean about how hard it is to draw their ears - when I first started drawing them, they turned out looking like mice!

lol, yeah, I was so accustom to drawing roundish pointed wolf ears that when it came to the wild dog I was like. ;_; well, huh? It took forever to get them to look right.

I am too, their markings were hard for me to -comprehind- at first, didnt really know how to go about doing it, thats why the pup is better thant eh adult XD lol. I love them, though.

I know the feeling. I always end up staring at ref photos and going "-buh?" at their markings. They're tough to pin down, but I think you handled it well.

haha, thanks! Yeah, if it wernt for the references I had saved and used, then this image wouldnt have been that good, African wild dogs are hard to draw with their complex patterns and big ol ears.
