Spyro 2 is the first spyro game I played so I wanted to draw Ripto.

Wanna know something? I found the third part of this boss fight to be the easiest fight in the entire game. How ironic...

You meet Ripto 5 minutes into the game, you see him travel through Alavar causing havoc where he goes. You beat his two imposing monsters and now he's ready to take you head on. You thought this tiny guy was gonna be easy? This guy is one of the best bosses on the Playstation 1! Let alone one of the greatest final bosses in the Spyro games.
You have the build up, the music, the fact that this guy would just not die. How ready and willing he is to take you head on and how he loses his shit when you get a power up. His joyous laughter when HE gets a power up. That's the thing, you need an advantage to take this guy out, but he can use that same advantage against you!
Ripto was one of the best boss fights I'd ever fought and so many things worked to make him (in my opinion) one of the best final bosses of all fucking time! The challenge, the charm, the build up and the final act of the fight. Perfection. (Also, this picture is awesome too).

Agreed my friend, while I think malefor is more intimidating, ripto is easily the best villain of the original series, and one of the best final bosses in gaming history

I love the fact that Ripto is jumping out of the panel, almost as if he's saying "Get me out of this box, there's a crazed dragon in here!"
Also, love the 'T-Rex' claws.. nice touch there, since he is a dinosaur after all.

Propably the most epic battle in the Spyro series. Ripto sure was challenging, but beating him felt SO good.
And he sure makes up for the too easy battle with Gnasty Gnorc in the first game.

As much as I love the epic bosses in LOS Ripto will remain my favorite boss to beat on Spyro.
