Hey I like this! Are you going to update it for trillian pro? there are some bugs like it uses the yahoo icon for metacontacts. i really like your xp skins. They are the only ones that i would change the default skin to.

um, there is no Plugins directory. i didn't include emoticon sounds because, well, they bug me and they make the file significantly larger. you can always use the Emoticon Installer to install sounds and stuff.

I like the skin. Best XP I've seen.
I just have one problem. The emoticon sounds don't work for me. The sounds are in the Plugins directory, but they don't play for the ones that normally use them. Can you fix this sometime? Or might I have something installed wrong? I used the installer instead of the zip file.

thats weird, i just checked after my first message, and mine said Ok, but now it says OK. maybe i was imagining things.
i was thinking about making the consoles resizable, but i couldn't get them to look right, so i figured i'd go for looks
i've tested a few different skins, and it sems that the furthest right button on the toolbar has a problem switching from mouseover to normal. strange.
lol, i thought u might have been sarcastic, but i wasn't sure. hate how you can't tell on these here typin machines

My button in my skin changer is "OK", not "Ok". How odd.
About the history button bug, it might be a trillian engine bug (whenever you try to open up a log file in notepad, it doesn't continue to update the status of the button). This can be seen as in the history button in the IM window, or in the main contacts window, if you click on an IM Medium, and then click something that is *over* another button, the underneath button's status is locked at onMouseOver. This can also be seen if you try to check the connection history by going into the status window and hitting the "History" button. Also, could you make that window vertically resizeable? I realize that the WinXP window is not resizeable, but I can't use information that is displayed to me at ~= 3 lines at a time.
And yes, I knew you did Trillian AIM. That was the point. I'm so witty... :/

i know what you mean, and yeah, that was the only place i could find that looked good. any ideas?
lol, on that Ok thing. i did it Ok instead of OK because the button on the skin changer says Ok and not OK, so i figured i'd keep it genuine
the second seperator contains the secure IM indicator. little padlock shows up if its secure

Thanks a lot for the skin, nike. I can see the amount of time you put into this (especially for a guy who doesn't have windows xp???). I have some questions and responces to your WONDERFUL piece of work.
In the IM (maybe more?) window, when you click on the history (or Message History) button, it does not return to normal. It stays on the onMouseOver picture (unless you click and hold and drag your mouse off).
I really wish that the send button wasn't on the status bar in AIM. I realize that you had to put the buddy icon somewhere, and that's probably the best, but I just think that the send button on the status bar looks a little odd. Have you ever seen a button on a status bar? Ad-aware has a picture in the status bar, but I still think that's less-than-attractive. I'm not even sure you can do anything about this, as you probably found the best place for it as it is.
Now, on to the super duper, 'I could have been doing more productive things, like homework' front; On the skin selection window, I really like what you did, but could you make the line "To begin, click Ok" to read "To begin, click OK". The "Ok" just hit me as odd. I'm sorry. I'll go home now.
Could you explain what the status bar separators are for in the IM windows? I see the far left one as "Your buddy is currently typing a message", and I can see the need for a separator, but what does the middle part function for? My eyes go to that part quickly, and I can't figure out what it's there for.
But seriously, this is THE greatest skin for trillian to date, and is now taking the place of my Trillian AIM skin (done by someone.... I forgot who). Thanks for the attention to detail. I really appreciate it. This is a great skin that really works with XP, works 99.9% flawlessly, and even adds some great functionality (the pending events on the contact list's status bar). And it looks great to boot!
Since the new "average" user is going to get a computer with XP preloaded, I think that this skin should be the default skin (no offence kid), or at least included in the distrobution.

Hmm. Takes up way too much screen space, much like the default XP themes. I prefer my contact list to be minimal, with just the ICQ, AOL, etc icons, and a "Menu" button. All that other crap is redundant.

very sharp! definitely far superior to the other XP skin i have for trillian. not very functional if all the contacts are going to be blurred out though...
