It's been like a month since I worked on an interface, & i think the brake gave me renewed power & will to design. This is just an example for the ExcelFame.com website, since theirs is already under construction. It's my vision of that website...For this design, I think it is the most programmer-friendly design I ever made, I really took into consideration how everything will work and the textures that will repeat in order for the website to load quickly.
Logos and all that shit by me.

The concept is good, but I think this is a case of when a job looks better in your head or on paper than digitally.
As mentioned earlier there are too many sections coming in to let me know where to look. The contrast in the colours of these sections from black to white is again too strong, it needs to be something more subtle. The icons that are used throughout, again, too many. When I relax my eyes to look at the design I see them all over the place and it is very distracting.
There are a couple more things, but I think I'll just leave it there.
Very creative, just doesn't feel right for web.

i agree with niponwar, the overall feel of this layout is great. i really like the colors on this too.

Though the idea is creative, the various raised and moved sections make me dizzy and hurt my eyes. I can't comment past that because it's affecting me so badly when I try to look at anything :/
