This is the entry for 's Contest '3000'. [link]It is about improvement in more than 6 months.

It is the same piano on both images.
I guess that this isn't one of my best images to show improvement on, but I started with photographing flowers & it is winter, so not many flowers to photograph.
I hope that you can see improvement anyways!

I say improvement!
The second photo is definitely more interesting than the first. The focus versus blur aspect as well as the softer contrast give it a less sterile mood, and the angle is far more intriguing.

Now you can volunteer to be mentioned in a journal entry for a particular genre of art that interests you, and you might get the occasional note asking you to comment on a piece or two.
You can also sit tight and see what pieces appear in the group gallery, and comment on those pieces.
You can also go out and just comment on any pieces you want to, because the group is all about spreading detailed comments on dA.
You are also welcome to go to the blog entry listing different users willing to comment (I'm one of them) and ask a few of them to comment on a piece or two.
(Not all group members comment using the group icon, but I like to, just in case you were wondering.)
