Description
Adrift in the coldness of space after a space walk "accident" on a space station. Turns out this guy didn't have many friends aboard, and the crew decided to conspire against him.lol xD
Pretty ambitious concept, but I think it came out reasonably well.

I'm studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in computer science and IT. I did some astronomy too, I kind of wish I had gone and majored in that instead, it's the best field of study, especially when you get to do lots of it at night

Yes, but not every night. Star gazing is not really what astronomy is all about. Most of the time, the nights they are out there looking for things are pre-planned according to when they predict certain things are going to happen. I think the night sky is much prettier than during the day. Also, insomnia is where you have trouble sleeping
And yup, high school is really lame, I almost failed most of high school, it's just so uninteresting most of the time. Of course, when people tell you that it's a good thing to actually try to learn in high school, they are right. I've had trouble with the maths part of my degree through high school laziness ^^

Cool! You like Tool and Opeth. Opeth especially, is amazing. I'm always surprised when I see people that like Opeth, because there aren't many people who actually appreciate good music, or have a good idea of what good music actually is. Opeth have always been my favourite band, and their new album is going to be awesome, very 70s prog influenced.
I would say my musical palette is pretty strange though, compared to most people's. For example, my 3rd favourite artist is a New Zealand singer/song writer called Brooke Fraser: [link] Pretty big contrast to Opeth XD

I'm super sick of the way popular music has been trending over the last 10 years. I did a diploma in audio engineering straight after I left high school, and there were so many wannabe hip hop producers doing it as well, they are pretty much just an embarrassment to themselves, not that they are all like that, but most of them.. yes. ^^

You know pop is actually not a genre. It is the music most of people listen to. Or know about... So my point is at the moment the so-called pop music is nothing but computerized voices and instruments which is quite sad, because that's not real =/...but hey.. what is real nowadays? Fake boobs, fake love (reasons: gold digging, revenge to other person, etc.), fake eye color, fake alcohol, fake smiles, fake friendships...

I both agree and disagree. A genre is only a genre because of trending and style. Metal is metal because a number of bands styled their compositions based on similar writing conventions from bands which they liked, and had come before them.
Popular music is everything you hear populating the media etc, the genre pop came from this. But yes, pop music does encompass all of that rubbish, but I believe there is definitely a certain style in there.
This is something I've thought about for a long time, especially while I was studying music and playing in bands and things. It's an interesting topic.
I definitely agree with your comments regarding everything being fake. Having said that, artists like Lady GaGa are actually really good musicians, but their primary goal is to make money, whereas bands like Opeth prefer to write the music they want to, regardless of how much they get paid for it.

Not all of them lip sync though, there is definitely two extremes in popular music. Some are very very good, but most are just awful.
Unfortunately, these "artists" are merely a bi-product of the people. If people didn't go to their gigs, or buy their music, they wouldn't be around. So it's the people funding them I hate xD
And I agree, something is pretty damn wrong about pop culture at the moment, but that's why I appreciate people like GaGa, without people like her, pop music would be even worse than it is right now.
I think all of this rubbish pretty much came about because of Madonna haha

I was a muso, I played guitar and piano all day long, played in some bands and things. Then I got sick of musicians and everyone (and people in general) and started my nerdom with a Diploma in Audio Engineering, since it was more of a nerdy side to music haha. But at the end of the day, I still had to deal with silly musicians, so I decided on IT/computer science ^^

lol because they are mostly pretentious and demanding, and think they know more than you about audio engineering, when they don't. I just don't like being around those sorts of people. A lot of musician's like to feel like they are doing everything, including the recording and production of the product, which they aren't, and they can't be, because they just don't have the knowledge. I just got frustrated ^^
