Description
Okay, here's the companion to the first drawing
These drawings show a head on view of the complete engine, detailing the control wheels and bedplate castings as situated in the submarine's hull. The other illustrations are "shop" drawings which show detailed views of some major components of the engines as they would be presented to a pattern shop to be cast in metal 
Any fan of steam railroad engines will immediately recognize the components and their functions
