I JUST WROTE OUT A LONG FUCKIN' THINGY AND I SCROLL DOWN AND IT GETS DELETED?!?! WTF?!!???!!?!?Highlights of my long thingy (in research/study notation):
A. Maiden Vector attempt.
1. Took roughly 6 days to reconstruct reference picture that i crosshatched using illustrator
a. Used no filters or cheated in any way. Just flat out shapes and lines and twigs and stones
2. End result sucked super hard ass (dislike)
B. Crosshatch sketch sitting around in sketchpad doing NOTHING
1. Drew the original ink image 6 months previously (summer)
C. Genius idea formed in head (my own)
1. Combined the two images (photoshop style)
Vector + Crosshatch = What you see here
(note: If you take notes some other way, or were taught differently, keep it to yourself. Do you think i will care? Honestly...)
(supernote: Don't be the smartass that thinks its funny to comment "i learned to take notes differently" because i asked you to NOT mention that)

I use Illustrator a lot and I'm very impressed. It gives the piece a very rough, gritty, but cool feeling.

Hmmm, I think it looks quite good. I mean, somewhat ugly, but the effect of the crosshatching with the vectors underneath looks good.
The vector background is very nicely done too!
As for your note taking No, I won't comment on it, except to say if you write something long as a description, it's always a good idea to copy it to clipboard before you submit, I've had the same problem a few times...

Let me be the first to comment that i hate this piece...but not enough to delete it or not submit it because of the goddamned time i spent vectoring up the background.
