It's been a while, been busy with work T_T… thought i'd upload one, done last weekend.One of those doodle got carried away while listening to some soundtracks.
1.5h nothing much… i just love painting spiky mountains ok

He used Photoshop brushes, like cloud brushes, rock brushes, etc. that already contained enough details, esp. high resolution brushes. I also drew something like this but uglier 
Or, hes skilled enuff, like the simple and random jagged strokes already executed an idea. <- thats the secret magic!
Since it required less colors, it requred shorter time.
I saw your gallery and I see that you use GIMP (one of the software I also used!) and you got some good artwork! Work out on the color choice, when to use layering techniques (overlay, etc.) and focus/emphasis and things are going to be better!
