I love this image. The emotional message speaks volumes!! the title doesn't need to say anything more!
The kind & loving look on her face, paired with the "wounded" and lonely child-like "little guy" is so beautiful! He looks like she just walked up to him randomly & offered this SIMPLE ACT OF KINDNESS. Like it was only a moment before this image was captured, so the realization and full happiness hasn't completely crossed his face entirely yet.
Her look (not to mention the "just enough" accent of her necklaced) really is emotionally fulfilling. It's clear that her gesture has no strings attached and may be the most kindness he's ever experienced.
Also, the facct that this peice is not human-to-human but with a robot in a very well done "child's role" conveys the boundary-crossing nature that true kindness & love really is!

your dealing with art blockage? how do you get over it? i thoguht i was good after i went through like a year of it i come out with one piece then i try to go to another and once again i feel slammed. sometimes i'm afraid i've lost my touch. by the way is that the robot from "bad robot". you see the thing in the begining of some movies. well if it's not i'm sorry, it just kinda looks like him

My mom once had a dream that she had a son who was a gold robot named Ivan. She woke up crying because he'd gotten lost and she couldn't find him. She still gets sad when she remembers that dream.
This painting is really quite beautiful and touching. Very lovely!
