This is a joke, anyways. Y'know... Ashley isn't as annoying as you all make her out to be. I can think of a billion other game characters that are more annoying than her in this alone (EFFING Chainsaw guys... four of them I faced in ch 4-3. FOUR. DX).
See, I have a theory. Innately, we as gamers HATE Rescue and Escort missions. So that hatred is taken out on the rescuee. So what if she can't defend herself? She's a freaking college student. What else is she supposed to do?
Anyways... yeah. I do not think Ashley is super annoying, but I drew this anyways for the giggles. XD
I know, little weird to have drawn this on Christmas Day, but whatever. XD Would've colored it sooner, but Photoshop decided to be a bitch. X(
I like how Leon's pout came out. I'll have to use that one more often. ^^

I really don't think Ashley is all that annoying, but I think she would have been so much better...IF HER OWN DAMN DUMBASS OF A FATHER SIGNED HER UP FOR SELF-DEFENSE CLASSES!!! I mean, jeez laweez! He's the freaking President of the United States, and he doesn't even do that for his own daughter!?! What the hell!?! I mean, come on! This is one thing about video games that just really--and I DO mean really--irks me. I mean, just like Princess Peach, she constantly gets kidnapped, yet for some stupid reason she's shown the capacity to be badass in a few games. I'm just going on a tangent here, but both Ashley and Princess Peach are prime examples of this.

Ashley was a naggy, loud, annoying little blonde bundle of trouble... But we all have to admit that she got to be usefull in some (few) parts of the game.

Awww, poor Ashley! And... poor Leon? LOL! What an awesome artwork! I definitely appreciate the humor in this. Their expressions are priceless! And I totally agree with you about gamers hating rescue missions and taking their frustration/anger out on the person being rescued. I actually hated Ashley when I first started playing RE4, but it was because I couldn't keep her alive 95% of the time. Once I got better at the game, she really wasn't annoying at all and I started to appreciate her character

Well, I just finished ch 4-3, with the crypt maze and minecart ride. Four Chainsaw guys. FOUR. URGH. XD
It's hilarious, too, had NO idea about the first one, ran up the ladder to escape the other guys, I hear the chainsaw, and I'm all "WHERE IS HE!?" and he TOTALLY cuts me down from behind. Son of a BITCH. XD
Then they set me on fire halfway through the minecart ride, and then the next try, I miss the final jump. XD So, three deaths in that chappie. Hooray. XD I still have to go open the lion door, but I decided to go back and save.

Oh I see. Well, here's a tip when going up against the chainsaw enemies in Chapter 4-3 and to conserve ammunition also and time if you go thru that chapter again. If you want to, buy a rocket launcher from the Merchant at the beginning of Chapter 4-3 and when you head underneath the mines in the first part there when you have to climb up the ladder and grab the Mining Key. Then equip the rocket launcher and target the chainsaw enemy from a distance. If you're successful with it, it'll kill him in one shot so you can go up there and grab it easily. When you do that, you'll notice that the villagers will climb up from the ladder to get to you. Knock them off and use a hand or flash grenade on them so you can jump out if there and head to the door where you'll need the key and that way you don't have to deal with the second chainsaw enemy if you decide to go downstairs which is the more dangerous route. While you're in the minecart ride, when you see the third and fourth chainsaw enemies coming at you, hit them from a good distance with the shotgun(any one of them is fine: but for better results, use the Striker) and continue to unload on them. As for the next chapter, when you face the boss there which is Salazar, to expose him, you can use the shotgun to shoot at the eye of the creature. Once Salazar is revealed, here are 2 ways you inflict major damage on him. To finish him off the simple way and fast with one hit, use the rocket launcher that you can buy from the Merchant before you face Salazar, or you can use the Broken Butterfly(power it up will always help on it) and nail him with it. ^^
