I like the crows because they genuinely sympathize with Dumbo after hearing his story, and of course they're the ones to motivate him to fly in the first place.

Yeah, the crows might have been a little jerkish at first, but once they got the facts of Dumbo's story, they genuinely felt sorry for him.
