Description
This will probably the last request for a while since I won't be anywhere near my computer for the next week. However I do plan on doing one or two more requests once I get back again.For this one I've picked WatchersTear s character/setting suggestion since the character seemed quite interesting (and I love how many clothing variations there are for her).
This one gave me a bit more trouble since I'm not used to working with this type of color scheme but it was still pretty interesting and fun to paint :3

I honestly always like it when artists integrate their signature in the image so I think I'll try to keep this up (at least whenever I do an image with a background).

This looks amazing! I love her expression and pose, perfect for her, and the colours and background looks awesome! I really love the lighting too, it's soft, and really captures the deep feeling of the forest/jungle! I'm happy you enjoyed her outfit variation and found her interesting! Also happy you had fun painting her! It's great in a way that it gave you a challenge with the colour scheme too, challenges always help us to grow! : D
I really love how even with your portraits you really get life and storytelling into the image. I feel like you captured her character perfectly, great body language and expression, and her looking to the side makes me think there is more to see if I could follow her line of vision. Gets me thinking about her goblin friends, like she is watching them goof around!

As I mentioned before I've gotten pretty bored of a lot of my older drawings, since they feel kind of meaningless to me, so I aim to add at least a bit more character/story to my newer ones.
I honestly enjoy doing requests in general since they mean that I'm not bound by the responsibilities that come with commissions but still get suggestions of cool characters/ideas I could draw for the days when I'm not motivated to come up with a motive myself (and as a bonus you get to make another person happy) :3

I know what you mean, I'm hoping to do the same thing later this year. Right now I'm too busy to really get into it, but I want to focus on storytelling when I have the time again. It's just so much more satisfying then just drawing static portraits of cool/pretty characters.
Totally get you, I've done that myself in the past. It's awesome drawing designs you yourself didn't make, and like you said it's so fun making others happy!
