I am a big fan of this shot, and I really really like the composition. Love the concept, love the cropping, very nicely done. One thing though, the contrast.. it needs more of it. A lot more of it.
Otherwise it's great!

Very simple but complex! Excellent composition and I think the black/white does a lot to help this picture.

I like it, for some reason it just seems strange to me, pear on books, but I lik the stangeness of it. and the titles, I like the titles that are visible. my only complaint, a small one, is that I think it should have more contrast, jack the blacks up a bit and it will be so much more powerful... would make my fav list that way

This is such a fun shot. The subject matter is simple, yet there's something about the plump pear balancing in what looks to be a precarious manner on the books that is so strangely comical. It makes me smile when I look at it.
