very nice. i like the soft color in the rose and i like how you left hints of green in the background. if you had removed the color information (wth photoshop or something) and made the background grayscale, it would have looked a lot like those "calendar" photos. by leaving it like this, even though it references those other pieces, the image stands on its own.

thank you, that was exactly my intention. I had to play with the levels of the background to get them this way, otherwise they would've been too dark

thanks! No, i didn't use any filter and it wasn't cloudy but the sun was going down and the sky was darkening.
