A moment of affection between my characters, Ariya and ice demon Ghairou (pronounced gare-oh)

She looks uneasy for several reasons.

Backstory is too large to put here. In short:
She's unused to affection and freezes up. She's afraid even the slightest touch means ill intent.
She has no idea why he's started being so gentle toward her, and he's given no explanation. She doesn't know how to react, or even if she should. She doesn't want to leave herself defenseless. His demonic nature has left doubt in the depths of her mind. Anything kind he does toward her has to be a ruse; she hasn't forgotten their first unpleasant encounter.

But for him to continuously show her this gentle demeanor with no words or reason...how long will she be able to protect her heart from him?

Trying so hard to hone these two. I'm getting better with the height and the hair, but I'm not used to drawing the same set of characters more than once. And dammit, proportions and HANDS!
