The Story of the Icebounded Snowdrop FlowerThere was once a snowdrop flower that was living in the deepest of snowy forest. It was so cold that it was icebounded. The snowdrop flower was waiting excitedly for the time the ice melts and it could finally blossom.
It was one those freezing days of winter and a strong blizzard was coming. Poor little Fiona was coming back from school when she caught in the blizzard. She lost her way home and found herself in the middle of the forest. There was nothing but snow as far as she could see.
She was desperately looking around to find a place to shelter from the blizzard. At that moment she saw a tiny yellow thing standing within the snow. She noticed it was a yellow snowdrop flower when she got closer. 'It's a beautiful flower' said little Fiona and she kissed its icebounded beautiful yellow leaves. Just as kissed it , the ice melted because of her warm lips and the flower opened with a loud crack. It was a very magical moment for both of them.
Just then the wind stopped howling and the blizzard was gone. Finally,Fiona could walk home safely. Now it was time to say goodbye. She gave one last kiss to the snowdrop flower and she headed home following the pathway.
