Press the "Download Image" button on the right.Here is a watercolour tutorial. I wanted to add this because there is also other ways besides the traditional way of paintting with watercolours.
I hope that this tutorial will help you out. And I hope you understand this since my english isnt amazingly good.

I use watercolor pencils like normal colored pencils, I think the paint layer would be too thin if I'd paint over the watercolor pencil strokes.

its a great tutorial...i mean it is really great but...i think ure pic is better off leaving it as complete when u stop painting at Box 9....where u leave the background on Lucy's back white...because the contrast and the light make sit look more realistic XDD haha
sorry but the critic although i'm still very unskillful...but at least thatz what i think >.<

You know how to use pencil watercolors too? I have those and not the ones you have. I assume it's not much difference.

Yes, I have also watercolor pencils, but I use them like normal pencils. Sometimes I use little water with the watercolor pencils, so that I get really powerful color. And it's good to do details with the watercolor pencils in some watercolor paintings.
