I was playing around with a coat design today, and it turned into a uniform/military style short coat. It took me about four or five hours in total, which is great if I want to turn it into a production item.So here is my question for you, would you wear this a semi-regular fashion item? if so, what colours would you like to see it in? is there enough detailing? (I still think it needs somthing on the back) and how much would you be willing to pay for it? (just for fun >_<
It's made from a stretch cotton/lycra twill lined with fleece (the sleeves are unlined) the closures are snaps and a buckle.
so any input on this would be most helpful! thank you!!!

This is REALLY beautifully well done. I'd actually be interested in buying one of these if you ever made more once I get the extra cash. Personally if I got a version that didn't have the black straps, I would wear this all the time as fancy casual wear instead of just a costume outfit.Β
This is just so cool! Depending on the cost of supplies and the amount of time worked on it, you could probably sell these for about $30-60 dollars.

This is the sexiest (respectfully) clothing item I've seen. Superb design. Perhaps to match the front, some straps on the back would look nice.

But I would say depending on how hard it was to make / how much the materials cost you, I'd spend 40-60. I think its pricey but your not gonna find something as cool as this in the mall or without going and getting one made just for you

I really like this, I do agree that it needs a lil more work on the detailing side. If it was well finish and had a few more refined details, I'd pay around $60 or so for it. Very cute though.

That's pretty cool! Well done! In my opinion there are enough details, you could just put an own logo or something like that on the back, but that's not necessary. I would like it in black or red. Or red with a black collar and black edges, you know... or the other way around

Short Jaket with long sleves very nice ^w^ i like to desighn cosply and other things but i havent the slightest clue how to bring it off the paper. I absolutly Love this look ^^ brings me to thinking of a mini skirt with it /scort. Very nice

You should put some of those braided rope thingies that military people wear as decoration on their coats, on the back. Like, you know the kind that in the front of some coats they have little loops for buttons? It would rock on the back.

I would 100% wear this everyday..with that said, i dress wierd everyday ne how. Id love it in a deep crimon,navy black and white for standard colors. And id probly pay around 30$ if it was standard sizes and not custom fit . Idealy I dlove to see you put some shoulder decorations on it and id be wearing it like 24.7 in every photo lol Love a good military jacket >_<

This... is... awesome. AWESOME I say! It's got that cool, sci-fi/military style, but also like I could conceivably wear in it the every-day!
... Well, cooler people than I could wear it in the every-day, anyhow. ORZ
But still! If I had the cash, I'd definitely get one. As for suggestions, I think it looks great now, but maybe offer different colors of buttons/closures? I personally think a deep emerald would be beautiful, maybe white? It'd be striking. <3
Maybe offering special orders in different fabrics: I think a lot of people would like something a little heavier and/or glossier, to mimic actual military uniform wear.
(Since it looks more dress or casual than something you'd actually wear in the field, I think a 'higher-maintenance' fabric would be good, as opposed to something durable like canvas or denim. Just my personal opinion, though. ^^)
