I just found your tutorials and I think they're fantastic.
I am really trying to learn how to design interfaces that rock but I can't find any that's cool

I look forward to your adding new and updated tutorials.

You reign supreme

Great toot JS!----So easy, but some of us would never figure it out quite the way you've shown! I suppose it's just like solving a math problem (PS tricks)....there are so many tricks and formulas, each different yet reaching the same goal.

lol no offense, but this ain't the quick way to do this bro

An easier far quicker way, is to create to identical layers using a small level bevel, then use polygonal lasso tool, or similar, to select the shape you want, and then hit delete on the top layer, the bottom layer will immediatly show your tech indent, creating a very nice tech line, for bets reults I do this using various brushs. This works especially well for when you want to give a damaged look to an interface or design etc , simply choose a grunge brush, and then use erase or brush normal on the top layer again, and well yea easy stuff ....

oh yeah, lots of difrent ways to do it, but i do think my way is quicker, for me, makes it even quicker if you use short cut keys too, then just copy the layer add a colour overlay, i think thats a lot quicker then going into bevel , then setting up the bevel to how you want it, i prefer to work in seprate layers, i always find my self needing to modify the opacity, and the way i work makes that quicker for me, i can just change the opacity on the highlight layer lol

i should have made it clear, i dident mean qucker from a bevel , i ment from doing it the pixel by pixel way lol

but then again, its just the way i work, i find it more qucker then the bevel way, well for me anyway, its just each to there own i think , we all work in difrent way's, and there is always like 100 difrent ways to do something lol
