Oh, this is so moving and beautiful and sad! Ugh, I'm filling up with feels, and I haven't even played Elera through Trespasser yet...
I just love this so much. That soft, nostalgic first verse painted such a beautiful image of Solas and Lavellan's wonderful teacher-student bond... and then that defiant, bold chorus. Lavellan feels so full of hurt and anger - yet they still call him hahren, they still respect him. There is nothing I won't do. After all, I learned from you.Β Argh, my heart.
I love all your songs, but this one might be my favourite so far. It's so emotional, and all the rhymes are beautifully made! This is just the perfect way to express the mixed feelings that Solas and Lavellan have for each other.
