Did this a while ago, but I thought I'd share it now to make up for nothing recent in my gallery (sorry, still learning the ropes of modeling).

I'm an avid Risk player, owning eight sets now of varying themes. Figured one day I'd try to make my own variation on Risk, and this was the map.

It was inspired/adapted from the broken earth map from Super Dimensional Century Orguss, but the continents more or less match up with those in Normal Risk. I even made a deck of territory cards to match up with this version, owning both the 'collect one of a kind' pattern of the original and the 'stars = armies' kind in Risk Revised. Thus, this map is playable both ways.

Wanted to go with a wintery/lite feel, but hi tech. Maybe someday when I have a job I can print this out and convince my friends to play with me. For now, it's only a vision...
