I know how frustrating it can be for new new gif animators to try to work with transparent borders so I decided to make a template for those who didn't know how to deal with them!
Why is this template different?
There are tons of templates scattered around DeviantArt, but I could never find one that did this. This stamp template is unique in the fact that the borders will always be transparent. Many new GIF artists have trouble making animated stamps because of the jagged transparent border. I have designed this so that no matter the size or placement of the stamp contents, you will never need to worry about it messing up the edge of the stamp. I use this on all the stamps I make, so I know its fool proof
How does it work?
The file has 3 layers.
The "Stamp" Folder
The "Stamp Border (Don't Edit)" Layer
The "Basic Background" Layer.
The "Stamp" folder has a thing called a Layer Mask. The layer mask makes it so that everything inside the the folder will conform perfectly to the edges of the stamp. This way you can move images around and use effects without having to worry about messing up your border or needing to trim your image. This techniques is very easy to do, but I find many new artists don't know it even exists.
So, how do I use it?
It's very simple! Just make sure that all your layers are inside the "Stamp" folder and your good as gold
By request I have included an XCF version of this for all you GIMP users. To use this, the alpha lock must be on! If you are unsure of how to do this, just make sure the box that looks like THIS has a check mark in it
Important: Don't edit the layer mask on the folder or the "Stamp border" layer. It's set perfectly the way it is now so there is no good in toying with it.

Feel free to use this on any stamps you want! There is no need to credit me, but I would greatly appreciate it if you would link this in your stamps description. It only takes a few seconds and it will allow more people to see it!
Comments are always welcome, so feel free to throw a few words down below!

MS Paint doesn't support transparency. If you want to make stamps then I would highly suggest getting one of the following free image editing softwares Gimp
Paint.net
SAI Paint Tool
All 3 are very good and used by many, many artists here on DA. I will personally suggest SAI, but all of them are great :3

Oh wow, thanks for linking that! I love to see what people make with my stock
Btw, do you see the 1px border around the inside of the stamp? Try changing that to a deep purple and see how it looks then. The change may be subtle, but you'll see what kind of difference it will make
