The dragon's attitude was modeled after my poodle's. He takes his poodle jobs seriously. He patrols, takes me for walks, and makes sure I never sleep through the alarm in the morning. I'm pretty sure he considers me the pet.

LOL Funny you should word it that way. I tried to explain the creation process to someone at work. -- I have an image in my head and work it so the result is more photo and less drawn, (if that makes sense.) -- She said that it sounded as if the models were alive in my head.....
Or I'm just insane. Either way, I have fun.

Yes, absolutely. Trying to force a photograph into a situation doesn't work so well. If you already have the concept when taking the photo, the image almost creates itself.
