*Yes i know i've used this song as inspiration before, but i couldn't help it, it's too damn perfect for this deviation!*

Simba is not sad or anything, i think he's perhaps lost in thought or is just enjoying some bittersweet solitude.

I love rain! We've had a lot of rainy days here lately, and i swear; if it wasn't too damn cold i would just sit in the rain all day long. I love it! i love the smell, the feel, the sound, it's very inspiring! and so this piece was born.

This is the beginning of a new mini series called 'Simba's Jungle Life' I know i'm doing a lot of mini series at the same time, but oh well, one more couldn't hurt.
Basically it's about Simba's life in exile without having met Timon & Pumbaa, i've cut them out completely. Yeah, the film would be a lot heavier and perhaps too heavy for children without them, but i really think that Timon & Pumbaa clash with the tone of the film way too much. So let's just pretend that they don't exist. I know that T & P saved Simba from dehydration and vultures, but in this alternative universe; Simba eventually regained consciousness, got up, moved on and spent the rest of his childhood and adolescence alone in his jungle paradise.
