Description
Just a quick landscape, roughly 2 hours. Originally meant to be entirely gray with some blotches of yellow/green in the trees, I ended up adding some reddish tones in the bank, and a little blue in the sky.Basically, I wanted to do two things: Practise water+ reflections (say Hello to the smudge tool!), and paint something in shades of grey. Someone once talked me about "colorful grays" and the thing is, I agree. Gray can sure suggest colors when used well! So I cheated a bit in the end, but will probably try worknig with Colorful Greys at some point again.
I will be uploading an Awka page on Wednesday, hopefully ^^ I have not been inspired to work in the chapter covers... but I'll write a status about that a bit later today.
PS; the rocks to the right are bugging me to no end. They look like they're floating above the water... gonna fix that later!

Once again, you made a gorgeous landscape that fooled me from the thumbnail. Again, I thought it was a photo you took at first glance.
And this looks like a very nice place to go for a swim if it were warm enough. I love how you rendered that water. <3

Ahhhh this has such a moody atmosphere to it. The gray with desaturated colors really worked out well!

Thank you! ^^ originally, it was going to be alot more stylized, but then I went for something more realistic. I like grays. Grays are underrated c:
