Description "... could you make an alchemy circle that allows the user to manipulate wind?"

Why yes, I can! And it looks like I did...
It works very simple like. It gives you the power to control the wind! Now not all the wind at once, of course, but the wind around you. You control the wind with your mind while that control is amplified through the array. The array can be anywhere on your person or near you. Its very simple, but very nice...

Special thanks to Kazumafk for asking for this. I have been driving myself crazy trying to come up with new ideas and this saved me from the brink of insanity. Plus it was somthing to do durring an 8 hour car ride, so I am greatfull.

May I used this array as part of my Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood/ Fairy Tail crossover for the villian?

I hate to ask the 'trick of the trade', so to speak, but how do you design these arrays? Is there a reference you use to see what symbols and greek text to include?
Thanks and hopefully you can share.

Symbols can be found all over the internet. As for design? I just do it. It all just makes sense to me and I know how to throw everything together.

He uses Serif DrawPlus for his transmutation circles. It's an art program and not very complicated to learn if you're already familiar with other programs. It's free and there's a full version if you want to buy it. You have to sign up for Serif if you want to download it but If you're doing transmutation work then it's very very very worth it. The shape tool is your best friend in that program and here's a tip... There's a tool called the polygon tool and it looks like a pentagon. But... when you select the tool you can select the number of sides. So even though there is a square tool you can also make a square with the polygon tool. There is no triangle tool so the polygon tool is the best way to make a perfect triangle. Just remember, select the tool and at the top is "Number of Sides".

Thanks, but I was asking about the symbols he used. Do they have any particular meaning (I know the Star of David), or are they just something cool he decided to add.

Every single symbol of a transmutation circle is like a transistor to a motherboard. Each part matters. Alchemy is both an art in that the drawings and everything is so artistic. But it's also a science because there are recipes, things that are most efficient, rules, every line matters.

Looks like you're controling it on the atomic level. Dude, there's an easier way. Air is moved naturally in nature by temperture circulation. Hot air rises and cooler air falls, this gives a circular motion that's easy to manipulate. It'll also save energy if you keep it simpler and you'll need it simple if you want to move large amounts of air to make this array really effective. Otherwise, the array as it is wonderful and very advanced, I also loved the expansion into the other elements that you did with the other array.

As fun as it would be to use tempurature to control the wind, the array would be quite boring. I tried that out and it wasn't very appealing. Plus, I figured that controlling the air as an element through traditional alchemy was a little more fun and it made a very beastly array.
Plus, like you noted, it made the elemental control array which is the beastlyest of them all.
And thanks for the comment and kind words.

True dat, and for an array that does what it does, it does it well and efficiently. But, in use and application the temp array would be more cost effective for, in essence, the same effect. Yes the array is simple, I was commisioned to do a control wind array a while ago. I was simply suggesting it for consideration in that this is a case of elegance versus effeciciency. And I rather like to consider myself a very efficient alchemist.

I will work for both sides. Sometimes even both at once. It mostly depends on what was in the request. While I will go with the efficient way, sometimes, even the efficient way is crazy. But it all works out in the long run, so its all good...
