Description
Well! A new version of the old tutorial I made ([link] ) - it's my most popular deviation but it's really old and I can draw much better now - and know more - so I felt I really needed to update it! Hope you'll enjoy. And I know it's not perfect and so on, but I tried to cover some basics. It's more tips for drawing wolves than step by step how to do it, hopefully it can help someone out there anyway!Oh there's a typo in the colour section, it should say "any shade of grey from very light to very dark"

Way better than the old one. On your old one the legs were too short and the wolves look dumb. Nice improvement, its very accurate!

can you please look at my wolves and see if they are like dogs or wolves please?
Please please please only look at #18, all the others were drawn long before #18. now I don't ever draw wolves with their tail(s) up; you know how wolves hold up their tail when they are showing they are boss? that's what he's doing. The colors arn't supposed to look real eather(yeah I know I spelled it wrong).
P.S. please put the comment on my picture please that would be more helpful.

This is definitely better than the other one. Love what you've done to make the wolves look like they're bored with this.

I love to draw wolves, but I always have problems with their heads (stop, ears, muzzle...) and legs. Your tutorial is very helpful ^^

This tutorial is wonderful! Especially the part showing the differences between dogs and wolves - I can draw dogs fairly well, but have trouble changing the species in my mind to draw wolves, especially since I don't have a live reference for them.
I love the way you do the two coat colours beside each other. The realistic one looks so much better, there's such a contrast between the two of them.
Thank you so much for making this! I find it very helpful in my quest for anatomically correct wolves.
