Yay new art! And a fruity one at that

I know I didn't post anything for a few weeks but I just had a lot of stuff to take care of before I could find time to make new paintings for myself.
BUUUT I'm back and I'll make sure to post more frequently from now on ohohoho

Anyways, I wanted to try painting something fun with markers and coloured pencils, and this is what I came up with! I LOVE SLUSHIES and it's winter but I miss summer and icy cold drinks aaa...so I wanted to incorporate those vibes here. Initially it didn't have any fruits...but as I kept working on it more and more, I thought it'd be nice to add some fruits and ice cubes. This is the first time I painted ice cubes properly, so it was fun to study them and learn to colour them.

I really enjoyed the process a lot, brushmarkers and polychromos went very well together. The image quality isn't the best because I don't have a scanner, but I think I'll replace it with a better scanned version once I buy one. BTW I posted a lot of WIPS for this over on Instagram , so feel free to follow me on there if ya wanna see sketches, doodles and WIPS

Sakura Micron 01 - brown, pink, blue, green, red, violet
Derwent Sketching Paper
Winsor & Newton Brushmarker + a few promarkers
Faber Castell Polychromos coloured pencils
White gel pen

Time: Took around 8 hours.
