Description This is Praetorian, the long in development character who eventually emerged out of the old 1997 concept character named "Primus". He has changed a lot and is very dear to my heart. I will one day get his story published as, well, I need to tell it. I'm not gonna give away his origin here, or anything more about his abilities than are on the reference sheet.

The colours seem kind of dull, I blame the scanner for doing that. Pencil crayons always look better in person than scanned.

Please feel free to comment, critique, do fan art etc. (that last one is a joke, I don't expect anyone to do fan art of him, lol).

Man, this character has gone through so much to reach this level. Glad you dig.

I know how those long time designs go over the years!

I dig the clean cut suit. Has a great Silver Age feel to him.

I think that the whole "Silver Age" thing was what I was going for here too, but not necessarily consciously. It is a very modern "story" but with many cues to silver age stuff and, frankly, aren't most Silver Age designs the most iconic and long-lasting ones? Never hurts to try and create something that will look good for years to come.

Well said. It was meant as a compliment by the way. That was my age of comics!
