As Skeldr fell, Styrr stumbled as well, surprised. Then, once he realised he had won he knew the Rut would end today, with him or whoever was left besider him as the winner. As the light crept over the horizon, he spotted a doe approaching, and instinctively he knew she was his final opponent.
